Apple Crumb Pie

Crumbs:

3 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 vanilla sugar
3/4 cup oil
mix well

Put 1/2 of crumbs in a 9x13 pan, the rest leave in the bowl.

Apples:

10 Cortland apples thin sliced in half moon shapes. Tip: Peel apple, Cut in 4, take out pits and slice thin.

When all 10 apples are sliced and ready in a bowl, sprinkle a tbs. cinnamon and 3 tbs. sugar, add a cap of lemon juice.

Put the whole apple mix onto the crumbs mixture in the pan. Take the other half of the crumbs in put it on top of apples, make it crumby (with your hands).

Bake for 1 1/2 hour on 325 degrees.

Enjoy the great apple taste.

Optional: You can add a half of a 16oz. can cherry pie filling on top of the apples before the top crumbs layer.
