  1. Marinated Baked Salmon

This recipe was originally submitted by Tom from Black Creek BC Canada.

After Reading your latest Foodstuff Ezine I had to pass on this Recipe that I got from Cooks.com.

4 Salmon Steaks (I used a fillet of sockeye salmon)
    1/2 c Brown sugar
    4 tbsp Butter
    3 tbsp soy sauce
    2 tbsp lemon juice
    2 tbsp dry white wine

Wash and pat salmon dry.Combine sugar, butter, soy sauce, lemon juice and wine. Place Salmon in a flat glass dish. Pour Marinade over fish.

Depending on time schedule this can stand for six hours but no less than 1 hour, tightly covered. Place in a baking dish and bake for 15 minutes in a preheated 400 degree oven. Baste twice during this time. This marinade gives the salmon a sweet and sour taste. Save marinade and pour over salmon.

    Serves four. Tastes great
