Skier's French Toast

This is a recipe anyone that loves french toast will love!
1-stick or 1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoon dark corn syrup
1 loaf french bread, cut into thick slices
5 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
a pinch of nutmeg
Cook butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup until sugar is dissolved; pour into a 13 by 9 in. pan. Layer bread on top of syrup in pan. Mix together eggs, milk, vanilla,and nutmeg; pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Uncover, and bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 min.
