Easiest Maple Sugar Pie

by Andre
(Montreal, Qc, Canada)

This recipe, easiest maple sugar pie, was introduced to me by Uncle.

It's a favourite of mine anytime I have a can of maple syrup on hand. Takes seconds to prepare, and cooks easy.

Ingredients:

1 can of maple syrup (500ml or 2 cups)
1 can of Sweet Condensed Milk (Eagle Brand Type - 300 ml 1 1/4 cups)
2 regular pie crusts (Either store bought or homemade)

Steps:

Pre-cook the pie crusts, and let them cool.

Mix the can of maple syrup and sweet condensed milk thoroughly in a bowl.

Pour the mixture into both pie shells and cook for about 35 minutes (until set) in a 350°F oven (pre-heated of course)

Let them cool and enjoy with a tall glass of milk.

This makes a maple pie that isn't too sweet and it's a no brainer, making the easiest maple sugar pie I know of.
