Roasting Garlic

orange divide

If you are looking for an easy way to roast garlic, you've found it.

Roasting garlic is not complicated or tricky and tastes so delicious you will want it on hand all the time.

I often roast garlic when I have the oven on for something else, even if I won't be using it for that particular meal.

That way the oven doesn't get used just for a tiny head of garlic and I have roasted garlic on hand any time I want to use it.

Oven Roasted Garlic Recipe:

Slice the top pointed end off a whole head of garlic to expose the tops of the cloves. Place head of garlic on aluminum foil and drizzle oil over the top. Wrap tightly.

Bake alongside whatever you have cooking in the oven for about 40 minutes, until the garlic is soft.

That's it!!

Roasted garlic can be stored in the refrigerator for several days and is delicious added to meat, salads, potatoes - or anything else you can think of.

Chef'n 6.5-in. Garlic Cutter Mince garlic easily with no fuss! To use, simply unscrew the bottom, insert peeled garlic cloves, replace the bottom and twist. Each turn yields freshly minced garlic, ready for your soups or pasta dishes. Use the special blade to slice off just what you need. For any that remains, just pop on the lid and store in the refrigerator.
