If you are looking for an easy way to roast garlic, you've found it.
Roasting garlic is not complicated or tricky.
Plus it tastes so delicious you will want it on hand all the time.
I often roast garlic when I have the oven on for something else, even if I won't be using it for that particular meal.
That way the oven doesn't get used just for a tiny head of garlic and I have roasted garlic on hand any time I want to use it.
You can use the roasted garlic for so many things.
Mix it in with mashed potatoes for a luscious roasted garlic mashed potatoes recipe, spread it on Italian bread or French baguette, or spread it on toasted Italian bread before you add bruschetta topping.
Oven Roasted Garlic Recipe:
Slice the top pointed end off a whole head of garlic to expose the tops of the cloves. Place head of garlic on aluminum foil and drizzle oil over the top. Wrap tightly.
Bake alongside whatever you have cooking in the oven for about 40 minutes, until the garlic is soft.
That's it!!
Roasted garlic can be stored in the refrigerator for several days and is delicious added to meat, salads, potatoes - or anything else you can think of.

I use the Chinese single-bulb garlic for this. (Good olive oil is recommended)
We eat it with a teaspoon whilst watching TV.
Far better than popcorn!...
