Mushroom Surprise

Mushroom Surprise

Originally posted to the site by Deseree R. of Texas, this recipe she calls mushroom surprise is her own creation.

Deseree says this about her mushroom surprise: “So this recipe is something I just threw together. I found it best when it’s served with pasta noodles, but whatever suits your fancy.”

Great served over egg noodles or your favorite pasta shape. You can also serve it over white or brown rice or a different grain like healthy quinoa.

  • 2 mushrooms, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1/4 tomato, diced
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 dash rosemary
  • 1 dash celery salt

  • Okay, so once you have everything you need; put the pan on the stove and turn it to medium. When you think it's warm enough put all of your chopped/diced goods in the pan. As you mix it around, pour in the olive oil and continue mixing.
  • After a few seconds put in your celery salt and rosemary. Usually, it will take 2 to 3 minutes. Then... TADA! Mushroom surprise 🙂
