kale with sausage,

dutch recipe,a real winterdish.

Peel a pot of potatoes,get a bunch of kale, put this both in a large pot of water,top it with a polskie sausage from hillshire farms. Boil this all together, till done.

Take the sausage out, put it aside,mash the kale with the potatoes, put salt and pepper to taste, also add some margarine or butter and a bit of milk also slice half of the sausage and mash this altogether,that you have a nice smooth consistency and put it all in a casserole, then slice the other half of the sausage and arrange it on top of the casserole.

Put it in the oven till heated and serve. It is very delicious.

Sometimes it is the simplest food that tastes absolutely spectacular isn't it? This is a real easy dinner recipe. I love one pot dinners. They are great for cleanup and easy on the cook. I am always up for something that is easy on the cook.
