Three recipes for milkshakes that have been shared by members. First a wonderful strawberry milkshake with the addition of just a touch of maple syrup. Fabulous.
Then we have a banana milkshake recipe, easy but delicious. We follow up with an unusual recipe for an avocado milkshake. I think I will give them all a try.
Maple Blush Strawberry Milkshake

3 Milkshakes: Strawberry, Banana and Avocado
Ingredients
- 2 scoops vanilla ice-cream
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon pure maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 cup strawberries
Instructions
- Mix all together well in a blender until smooth. Add whip cream on top if you wish.

Easy Banana Milkshake
- Ingredients:
- Bananas(about 4 or more)
- Milk(about 2 cups or more)
- 1 teaspoon of sugar(optional)
- Ice(optional)
- Blender
This recipe was contributed by Iyrah from Malaysia. He says: Kids can make this their own and I know that because I am a kid.
First, just chop/tear the bananas into pieces. Then just put it in the blender and put the sugar in it.
Then, if you are using 4 bananas, pour in about 275 ml of milk. Blend that on and off until it becomes about the colr of the banana skin.
Lastly, put in the ice and blend it just until the ice breaks up (about 5-10 seconds is OK).
Avocado Milkshake
This unusual avocado milkshake recipe was shared by Zenn from Singapore.
- half avocado
- 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon of honey
- milk
In a mini blender, blend in honey and milk and mix it with with the avocado and woohoo.. done.
Drink it immediately, otherwise it will turn color (brownish).

I have allergies to artificial sweeteners (headaches that wouldn’t go away)and have discovered a Banana Milkshake that is incredible.
One ripe Banana, 2 oz skim milk, 2 ounces water, 6-7 ice cubes, drops of vanilla. Blend on high. Unbelievable after days of water and tea.
