This sweet and sour meatball recipe is baked in the oven, so it’s great if you are looking for recipes that cut the fat.
Using very lean ground meats would help too.
The meatball recipe itself is very tasty. The meatballs are nice and soft because of the addition of some milk. The sweet and sour sauce is a simple mixture, but quite good.
These yummy little meatballs are great as a hot appetizer recipe, or serve them as a main course over rice.
If you are making them as appetizers, I would make the meatballs a bit smaller than if you are serving them as a main course. To serve, simply provide toothpicks or small skewers to pick them up hands free. Make extra sauce and put it in a small bowl for extra dipping.
These little meatballs are so good because the sweet and sour sauce is baked right into them instead of just being a dip.
