This sweet and sour meatball recipe is baked in the oven, so it’s great if you are looking for recipes that cut the fat.
Using very lean ground meats would help too.
The meatball recipe itself is very tasty. The balls are soft with the addition of some milk. The sweet and sour sauce is a simple mixture, but quite good.

Notes:
- These yummy little meatballs are great as a hot appetiser recipe, or serve them as a main course over rice.
- If you are making them as appetisers, I would make the meatballs a bit smaller than if you are serving them as a main course. To serve, simply provide toothpicks or small skewers to pick them up hands free and put the sweet and sour sauce in a small bowl for extra dipping.
